Warbird Weekend set for June 27-28
This is the fourth year for Warbird Weekend, a two-day event featuring historic aircraft displays and flights, aviation-related events and presentations aimed at both kids and adults.  The event was started to showcase the Idaho County Airport as a place for both business development and as a gateway to North Central Idaho's back country wilderness.
Aircraft Attendance:
While the list of this year’s aircraft has not been released yet, past year’s attendees have included the Historic Flight Foundation B-25 Mitchell bomber “Grumpy,”Historic Flight Foundation Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat “Bad Kitty,” Oldest Boeing still flying – 1928 Boeing 40C, PV-2 Harpoon “Attu Warrior,” North American Trojans – AT28D5 and T-28A, Vultee BT-13A, North American T-6 trainers, 1943 Fairchild PT26, Romanian IAR-823, Chinese Nanchang CJ-6, Waco Custom Cabin, 1927 Travel Air, Howard DGA, 1950 Dehavilland DAC-1, Navy N3N and PT Military Stearmans.

Young Eagles - The Experimental Aviation Association Young Eagles program provides free introductory flights with a licensed local pilot to kids ages 8 to 17. Available flights are limited and offered only on Saturday June 27th, first come first serve.
