scholars for Class of 2015 named
The Prairie High School Class of 2015 has five valedictorians and one salutatorian. This year’s valedictorians are Stellina Laurino, Emily McHugh, Eliese Perrin, Jessica Riener and Whitney Sonnen. They have all maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout their high school careers. Stellina is the daughter of Naomi Laurino and James Laurino. She plans to attend North Idaho College. Stellina was very involved in Band and Drama, BPA and Knowledge Bowl. Emily McHugh is the daughter of Susie Keating and Allen Meyer. She will attend the University of Idaho and major in accounting. Emily has been involved in FFA, BPA, Forever Free, Prairie League and Cheerleading. Eliese Perrin is the daughter of Scott and Tina Perrin. She is going to attend BYU Idaho and her major is undetermined. Eliese was involved in BPA and HOSA. Jessica Riener is the daughter of Ron and Michelle Riener. She will attend the University of Idaho in the fall and major in general studies. Jessi was in Cheer, Volleyball, BPA, Knowledge Bowl, Student Council, FFA, and Prairie League. Whitney Sonnen is the daughter of Melvin and Joyce Sonnen. Whitney was involved in Knowledge Bowl, FFA, HOSA, BPA, Basketball and Prairie Recycling. Our Salutatorian for the Class of 2015 is Natasha Gimmeson with a GPA of 3.85. Natasha is the daughter of Bryan and Cheryl Gimmeson. She is planning on attending BYU Idaho and her major is undetermined. Natasha played volleyball, basketball, softball, and was in Prairie League, Forever Free and the Go Green Group. Congratulations to all of these very deserving students.
