A Taste of the Prairie
Sat. June 27th; 9 – 1:00
By: Carla Wilkins; Cost: $30
At:  Grangeville & Cottonwood
Explore some popular sites of the Camas Prairie and enjoy a few treats along the way.  We’ll start our morning with a pastry at Crema Café, sample some Mountain Smoothies while touring The Gym and then explore an old tunnel under the Grangeville city sidewalks.  Next, we’ll head to Cottonwood where we’ll tour Dog Bark Park while enjoying the special cookies they make for their guests, and later sample some chocolate at the Monastery after walking to their grotto.  We’ll end our tour with a non-alcoholic drink at the Keuterville Pub & Grub where students can decide if they wish to stay for a no-host lunch.  All fees are being donated to Dual Credit Scholarships.
Barn Quilt Trail Tour
Sun June 28th; 2-4 pm
By: Annelle Urbahn; Cost: $20
At:  Grangeville
A replica of a quilt block, painted on plywood and usually hung on barns, is one of the largest grassroots public arts movements in American history.  Annelle Urbahn, the person behind the quilt trail movement in Grangeville, will lead a driving tour around the area to see eight of the twelve blocks in Idaho County.  Not only will you see a little country on this Sunday afternoon tour, you’ll also learn how the squares promote the heritage of the region and about the buildings on which they are hung.
