Schwartz, Eades are top livestock winners
Thomas Schwartz of Ferdinand and Brooke Eades of Kamiah were the top winners in the 4-H Livestock Awards at the Idaho County Fair.
Schwartz was Grand Champion in both fitting and showing and quality for beef steers and was the Reserve Champion Round Robin winner.
Eades was the Round Robin Grand Champion and also the Grand Champion Sheep Showman.

Thomas Schwartz of Ferdinand had a great showing at the 2015 Fair with Grand Champion for both quality and fitting and showing for beef, reserve champion round robin champion showman and the top overall beef project.

In between her Fair Queen duties Brooke Eades somehow managed to be the Grand Champion Showman for Sheep as well as the Round Robin Grand Champion and had the top overall ag project.

Jack Bransford had the grand champion quality sheep.

Camden Barger of Grangeville had the grand champion quality hog which was kissed and then purchased by Bret Christensen of Christensen Orthodontics. (Our Kiss the Pig photo did not turn out.)

The Kiss the Pig competitors from left, John Lamb, Bob Rylaarsdam and Dr. Bret Christensen (in a special costume for the event). Christensen wound up with the honor of kissing the grand champion hog and then wound up buying it.

Lauren Alfrey of Ferdinand was the grand champion showman for goats.

Sydnee Rylaarsdam-Schoo had the reserve champion quality steer and also had the top angus project as well as the top angus breeding project.

Hope Schwartz of Ferdinand was reserve champion showman for steers.

Taryn Godfrey was the grand champion showman for swine.

Dani Aiken had the reserve champion quality swine.

Elizabeth Severns had the grand champion quality goat.

Tessa Godfrey was reserve champion showman for hogs  and also had the top FFA project.

Naomi Connolley had the reserve champion quality lamb.

Tyler Wemhoff received the award as top judge.

Abbigail Stowell won the Lamb and Ewe Project award.

Davi Murphy had the Grand Champion Rabbit.

Katrina Wolfrum was the Horse grand champion showman.

Halle Klapprich won the Beef Rate of Gain Award.

Kelly Stubbers won the Lamb Rate of Gain Award.

Brooke Eades won the Overall Top Ag Project Award which was presented by Karla Enneking.

Idaho County Volunteer Leaders Distinguished Service Award went to Joel and Nancy Costa of the Tahoe Hillbillies 4-H Club.
