We have 21 classes in the Grangeville/Cottonwood area this Fall!  Here are the first four:
Geology Tour of Square Mountain
Sat. 9/19; 8am – 2pm
By: Rebecca Anderson ; Cost: $40
Meet at Grangeville
Join a geologist from the NezPerce-Clearwater National Forest for a scenic drive up to the Square Mountain lookout which oversees the Gospel Wilderness. Learn about how volcanos, intrusions, faults and glaciers shaped the Square Mountain area that we see today. Students must provide their own transportation but carpooling will be encouraged between students at the start of the tour.  The majority of the road is paved, but a high clearance vehicle is needed for the unpaved portion.
A Canning Retreat
Sat. 9/19; 9:30am – 2pm

At: Gospel View Retreat, Grangeville
Grab your apron and spend an enjoyable day preserving fresh produce.  Learn the basic techniques to water bath & pressure can!  The fee includes all of the supplies you will need. 
Beeswax Lip Balms
Mon. 9/21; 6:30-8pm

At: Gospel View Retreat, Grangeville
Join Little Carol and Jo at the Gospel View Retreat for a fun evening making three different natural lip balms.  You’ll be surprised at how quick and easy making your own can be! You will take home your favorite choice of lip balm.
Quickbooks 2013
Tues. 9/22; 9am – 4pm
By: Janice Gobbi; Cost: $80
At: Grangeville Outreach Center
This class will teach you Quickbooks 2013, a computerized accounting system that helps you record sales, invoice customers, record deposits, enter & track bills and write checks.
