Homecoming Week activities
This is Homecoming Week at Prairie High School.  The Pirates will take on the Council Lumberjacks in a 6:00 PM Football game.  
Prairie High School is proud to announce the following homecoming queen and king candidates:
Sierra Latimer the daughter of Chad and Natalie Latimer.
Kaitlin Stubbers the daughter of Ed and Kim Stubbers.
Krystin Uhlenkott, the daughter of Roy and Denise Uhlenkott.
 Shayla VonBargen, the daughter of Dan and Jeanie VonBargen.  
King Candidates are the senior football players:
Devin Bruegeman – Son of Neil and Kristi Bruegeman
Jake Bruner – Son of Teel and Kellie Bruner
Hunter Hasselstrom – Son of Eric and Shelia Hasselstrom
Brandon Higgins – Son of Brad and Cindy Higgins
Calvin Hinkelman – Son of Aaron and Vicki Hinkelman
Robert Hood – Son of Craig and Tracy Hood
Daniel Mager – Son of John Mager and Heidi Remacle
Terran Peery – Son of Lucas and Stephanie Peery
Justin Schumacher – Son of Doug and Julie Schumacher
Thomas Schwartz – Son of Mark and Theresa Schwartz
Isaiah Shears – Son of Randy and Vicki Shears
Philip Spencer – Son of Butch and Jean Spencer
The parade will begin at Gem Builders at 4:15 p.m. line-up and 4:30 leave time.  Those marching in the parade should be at Gem builders no later than 4:15 p.m.
Monday was Dig Pink Day – All students and community were asked to dress in pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Tuesday was Super Hero Day   
Wednesday is Duct Tape Day
Powder Puff Football will be at 7:00 PM 
Thursday’s theme is Class Choice – Seniors-Future Dress Day, Juniors-70/80’s Day, Sophomores – 50/60’s Day  Freshmen – Cavemen Day
Volleyball @ Grangeville – C, JV, V @ 5:00 p.m.
Jr. High Girls’ Basketball @ Home vs. Kamiah – 4:30
Jr. High Football @ Home vs. Lapwai   4:30
Junior High Drug Free Party at the Elementary School following the junior high football game.  
Friday is Spirit Day
There will be a PEP Assembly 7th hour
Parade line-up is at 4:15 – at Gem Builders with the parade to start at 4:30 p.m. Cheerleaders will lead the parade. 
Homecoming Football game is at 6:00 vs. Council 
Half-time activities – procession of floats; Announce float winner; Announce queen candidates and their escorts - senior football players as king candidates; Announce Homecoming King and Queen – Crowning
The Homecoming Dance will be held at the auxiliary gym following the game until 11:30 PM.  High School Students only.
