to start District play at 3:30 p.m. Saturday
Summit will be the #5 seed into the District tournament and will open District play at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, against #4 seeded Highland. The winner of that will play the #1 seed Logos at 6:30 p.m. Saturday while the loser plays at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19. If they win then lose they would play at 8 p.m. Saturday. If they win twice on Saturday they would play at 7:30 p.m. Monday. If they lose then win they would play again on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 4 p.m. The 1-A D-2 tournament is full double elimination for first place with the second place team advancing to a play-in match. The 1A-D2 state tournament will be at Lewiston High School Oct. 30-31. Summit loses at Nezperce The Summit Academy Patriots had just 1 match this past week, losing in 5 games at Nezperce 9-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 9-15. It was senior night for Nezperce, who had lost to Summit earlier in the season. Summit had their own senior night on Tuesday in a match vs. Highland at Craigmont and then will finish the regular season at Kamiah Thursday, Oct. 15. They will start District on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the LCSC Activity Center with 2 or 3 matches to be played Saturday depending on how they fare. See District Tournament article above.
