to host Veteran's Day program
The Cottonwood School District will present a program for Veterans on Wednesday, Nov. 11th at 10:00 a.m. in the Prairie Elementary School Gym. All Veterans and their family members are invited. Parents and the public are welcome to attend too. We have a slide show to honor our Veterans. We do have a collection of pictures of Veterans from previous years. If you would like to add to our slide show, or update a picture from a previous year, then please send or email a picture of a Veteran in your family, or a Veteran friend of your family to Laurie Karel at karel@sd242.org We need all pictures sent by November 6th in order to put them into the slide show. This year at the Veterans Day program, approximately 20 Veterans will be recognized with a Quilt of Valor made for them. Please feel free to share this invitation with any Veteran that you might know and invite them to our program. Thank you Veterans - for freedom in the U.S.A.! |
