Library News
The Brats and Brew is laid to rest for another year, now we can focus on serving our community.  The children's story hour has been such a bright spot every week . The opportunity to introduce the joy to be found between the pages of a book is an inspiration to us all.
Facebook posted a great suggestion for children of all ages, titled ". 27 Books Parents Should Read To Their Kids before They Grow Up".
Here is a partial list of those books:
But No Elephants by Jerry Smath
The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein
The Little Prince by Reynal and Hitchcock
I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen
Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown
Jumani by Houghton Mufflin
Charlottes Web by Garth Williams
Your children will remember these stories and the times you read to them, and hopefully carry the tradition on to their children.  Great memories are created here.
There will be more of these suggested books in next weeks letter and we are working on making sure every book on the list is available in the library .  A very pleasant task for our crew....
We have a beautifully illustrated copy of the list at the library.  It also guides you as to the content of these books.  Stop by on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and take a peek...you just might get the inspiration to start a new family tradition .
