health workshop set for Ferdinand
A Soil Health Workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Assumption Parish Hall in Ferdinand. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. with presentations starting at 9 a.m. There is a $5 registration and lunch fee. The Soil Health Workshop will be hosted by the Lewis Soil Conservation District. Idaho Soil & Water Conservation District, Clearwater Soil & Water Conservation District. Featured guest speakers will be: Tom Gehring, Agri-Trend; Ross Nielson, AgriGro; Marlon Winger, NRCS Regional Soil health Specialist; Doug Finkelnberg, UofI Extension Educator; and Drew Leitch & Mart Thompson, area producers.
