Super Tuesday! The possible day of reckoning for the half dozen candidates still in the race for our next president. By the time this hits the press the jury will already be in, and the results will go a long way in eliminating the laggards, and selecting the winners!
Clinton and Sanders on one side, and Trump, Cruz, Rubio, and a couple of others on the other side offer the voter maybe the most distinct choice one has had in the recent past.
Make no mistake about it. Those of us who are content with the direction America has been taking the past several decades, and which has accelerated immensely under the Obama administration, have only to decide between a declared and committed socialist, Bernie Sanders, and Hillary Clinton whose past record and her endorsement of Obama's legacy proves that she is not far behind Bernie. Her conviction that our problems as a nation only require more of the same, high-cost solutions imposed from the top are easily recognized in her campaign speeches, and are highly dependent on the artificial creation of more mountains of electronic money poured into the problem area and the economy.
Consequently, the national federal debt has grown from just under $10 trillion dollars in 2008 to a bit over $19 trillion as of January, 2016. Compare that to a debt of $5.6 trillion in 2000, $4 trillion in 1992, $1.65 trillion in 1984, and only $629 billion in 1976, the year that marks our nation's 200th birthday, dating back to the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776. Only a blind person can fail to see a pattern of near doubling of debt every eight years since the 200th birthday of our nation! So one certainly might ask, how long can this continue? (The above data can be found on multiple sources on the internet.)
So, what choice does one have on the other side of the political spectrum? At the head of the pack, and predicted to win the Super Tuesday primaries is the billionaire Donald Trump, who defies all of the experts by continuing to outdistance his near rivals. Certainly, he is the one who best expresses the dismay and disgust of traditional Republicans who are tired of their party's delay in attacking our major fiscal problems. But I do not trust Trump! His record in the past shows many positions much different from those heard on the campaign trail today, and his rather brash and at times crude language may satisfy the frustration felt by several of his backers, but does not bode well for a president of the United States! I do sympathize, though, with the many who consistently vote for him and want to see his brash style in charge during the trying days we are experiencing!
That leaves "the other side" mentioned above only two realistic choices, Cruz and Rubio. The very brilliant and impressive Ben Carson just cannot make it. Somehow, his quiet manner is not resonating with the conservative base. And the other possible contenders are just too far behind to be taken seriously at this point. And Rubio..., I like him a lot, but his endorsement by the main party is a death strike against him in my mind!
Frankly, I have to go with Cruz. He shares with Trump the near hatred of his established party, and in my mind, best represents Tea Party backers and others who are demanding serious cuts in our bloated national budget. All America should have listened to his and Mike Lee from Utah's filibuster during the long debate over raising our debt ceiling just the last time. I listened for over five hours late in the morning, as the two of them documented case after case of outright waste funded these days by the federal government. Funding Planned Parenthood the new federal budget particularly sticks in my craw! And yours??

I am endorsing Donald Trump for President of the United States.
The stakes could not be higher. The politically correct socialists are about to destroy our country. Donald Trump is the common sense conservative that can change Washington DC.
Donald Trump has the establishment (Democrat and Republican and alike) scared to death. Why? Because Trump is a private sector businessman that is use to saying ‘Your fired’.
The liberal media continues to spin reality. One of those is that Trump is destroying the GOP. However, it is just the opposite. Because of Donald Trump, The Party is growing in size and strength.
Donald Trump is truly proud of America. Donald Trump will not apologize for our greatness. Donald Trump will put America first.
Donald Trump will ‘Make America Great Again’! Vote Tuesday, March 8th, Donald J Trump for President!
