Auction is Saturday
The 2nd Annual Purse Auction will be held this Saturday, March 5 at the Cottonwood Community Hall. Doors will open at 1 p.m. with the auction set to start at 2:30 p.m. This is a fundraiser to help local victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. 100% goes to the women, men and children in need in Idaho County. There will also be a $10 per plate potato bar, which includes a drink. All proceeds from this go toward the fundraiser as well. Donation of a NEW blanket will get you a free meal. Donation items are still being accepted. Items suggested are purses, bags, backpacks, etc., either filled or empty. If you prefer, you can donate gift certificates, cash or other items that can be used to fill a purse. All donations are tax deductible. Donations can be dropped off at The Hangout, Grangeville Flower Shop, Inland Cellular in Grangeville, YWCA offices in Grangeville or Kamiah, USDA Office in Nezperce, Cottonwood Community Credit Union in Craigmont or the Riggins Whitewater Market.
