Prairies Jace Perrin won his opening match then lost then next two at the State Wrestling Meet held Jan. 26-27 at Holt Arena in Pocatello. Wrestling at 160 lbs., Perrin opened against Dillon Farnes of Soda Springs and won by pin in the third period, 4:43 into the match. In the quarterfinals he faced the #1 seed and eventual state champion Ronnie Kincaid of Declo. Perrin lost by pin in the second period, 3:11 into the match. That dropped him into the consolation bracket where he faced Brett Cole of Salmon.
