for Life reorganizing
The local American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life committee is planning an event in Grangeville set for Saturday evening, July 16, 2016 at Pioneer Park. They are reorganizing with quite a few changes beginning with their name. The ACS Camas Prairie Relay For Life committee is chaired by Carolyn and Bob Haning; they encourage past chairpersons, participants, and anyone interested in joining the new and revised committee to meet with them Monday, February 29 at 7 pm at the Aloha Laundry, 817 Cunningham St. in Grangeville. The focus will be to celebrate with all cancer survivors and respectfully remember our loved ones we have lost to cancer. The local event will include the usual beginning ceremonies, food, speaker, luminarias, games, etc. but will conclude by midnight that night.
