Area photographer featured in Brazilian magazine
A reporter for "Vida Simples", a popular life-style magazine printed in Brazil, spotted images taken by David Martin (Clearwater, Idaho) of Hell's Canyon on www.behance.net, a website dedicated to art, photography and other creative endeavors. David Martin's photograph series was entitled "My Journey to Hell", which featured amazing sunrise colors over Hell's Canyon near Seven Devil's. This image is entitled "Light My Fire". Mr. Martin began photography in his college days. Specialized training includes a workshop with Rocky Mountain School of Photograph in Missoula, Montana and a fine art printing course from master photographer and printer, Stephen Johnson, in Pacifica, California. David Martin's primary focus is in landscape photography, both black and white, and color. His photography has won numerous, prestigious awards. His gallery displays include Dark Room Gallery in Essex Junction, Vermont; 1650 Gallery in Los Angeles, California; The Dana Gallery in Missoula, Montana.
Mr. Martin is Featured Artist in this year's Central Idaho Art Association(CIAA) Spring Art Show. Show is April 7 (9am to 5pm), April 8 (9am to 7), April 9 (10am to 4pm).
