earn second place finishes
Chaye Uptmor, Laney Uhlenkott and Mykaela McWilliams each had a second place finish for Prairie at the Central Idaho Invitational Track Meet at Lapwai Saturday, March 19. 
Upmtor took second in the 1600 in 5:59.79 while Uhlenkott was second in the 400 in 1:04.24 and McWilliams was second in the 100 hurdles in 17.40. McWilliams also placed fourth in the 200 meter dash in 28.46. Kristyna Krogh had a fourth place finish in the 1600 in 6:11.71, was fifth in the 400 at 1:15.51 and 17th in the long jump at 11’6”. Theresa Wemhoff placed 8th in the 100 meters in 14.21, 14th in the 200 in 31.25 and 12th in the 100 hurdles in 22.29. Krista Hess was 28th in the 100 in 15.90, 24th in the 200 in 32.82 and 23rd in the long jump at 10’11.5”. Maria Schmidt was 30th in the 100 in 16.03. Ellea Uhlenkott was 42nd in the 100 in 18.77 and 29th in the 200 in 39.36. Bailie Gehring was 8th in the discus at 69’9” and 21st in the shot put at 22’8”. Madison Ulmer was 9th in the discus at 69’1” and 15th in the shot at 23’9”. Emma Gehring was 17th in the discus at 62’1” and 21st in the shot at 22’8”, The 4x100 relay team of Wemhoff, Hess, Uhlenkott and McWilliams placed 4th in 56.65. The 4x200 relay team of Krogh, Uptmor, Uhlenkott and McWilliams placed third in 1:59.19. As a team the girls were 6th out of 21 schools with 50.5 points. The top finisher for the boys team was Sean Spencer who was fourth in both the 800 and 1600. Spencer finished the 800 in 2:12.06 and the 1600 in 5:09.56. Grant Gehring was 5th in the 3200 in 12:00.05 and 15th in the 1600 in 5:42.05. Exchange student Ray Zhang was 10th in the 400 in 58.25, 13th in the 200 in 26.14 and 34th in the 100 in 13.01. Raice Dalgliesh was 43rd in the 100 in 13.63 and 26th in the long jump at 15’2”. Drew Dinning was 45th in the 100 in 13.79, 21st in the 200 in 28.04 and 51st in the discus at 59’10”. Brandon Latimer was 26th in the 400 in 1:11.99. Anthony Karel was 18th in the 800 in 2:25.80 and 44th in the long jump at 13’0”. Caleb McWilliams was 26th in the 800 in 2:33.87, 27th in the 1600 in 6:05.12 and 18th in the shot put at 31’11.75” Kevin Tillinghast was 28th in the 1600 in 6:06.96 and 11th in the 3200 in 13:08.46. Andrew Everson was 11th in the shot put at 35’3.5” and 25th in the discus at 84’7”. Carson Schmidt was 16th in the shot at 34’1” and 32nd in the discus at 77’3”. Tucker Hibbard was 40th in the shot at 26’11” and 55th in the discus at 53’1”. Lucas Wemhoff was 13th in the long jump at 17’1.5”. The medley relay team of Dalgliesh, Spencer, Wemhoff and Karel was 7th in 4:15.92. The 4x100 relay team of Dalgliesh, McWilliams, Zhang and Wemhoff was 11th in 50.94. The 4x200 relay team of Karel, Gehring, Latimer and Wemhoff was 8th in 1:49.56. As a team the boys were 14 out of 21 schools with 17 points.
