Library News
I thought it would be interesting to interview Library patrons from time to time and Story Time with the pre-school group seemed to be a good starting point. What a delight it was and this is the “rest of the story.”
“Scooby Doo books are all I like.”
That was the first answer from five year old Matt Frei, when asked what books he liked best from the library. Then he added, “Magic School Bus” and “all books ready by Polly and all books read by mom from the library.”
Matt is an enthusiastic and faithful contributor to the Story Time on Tuesday morning. He is a delight to observe, a natural born leader.
When asked about his interests, other that the library, without hesitation he answered “Farming, work and help people on our farm. Give them tools, help feed the cattle sometimes.
“My Dad’s name is Nick. Uncle Virgil, he’s a veterinarian farmer. Aunt Rose, Allen and Raina (grandparents) are part of the Frei family. She works at the school in Craigmont.”
The interview was over as Matt wrote his name for me. He seldom misses Story Time with his Mom, Crystal, and little sister Hailey.
Thanks for the interview Matt. I am convinced that here is a future farmer and I am looking forward to next Tuesday with Matt and his friends.
