team wins at Kamiah meet
Mykaela McWilliams was part of 4 event wins to lead the Prairie girls track team to the team title at an 8-team meet at Kamiah Friday, April 22. McWilliams won the 100 hurdles in a season best time of 16.54, the long jump at 1511½ and was part of the winning 4x200 and 4x400 relays. Laney Uhlenkott was also part of those two winning relays and won the 200 meter dash in 28.88. She had a chance to duplicate McWilliams feat but scratched out of her fourth event. 
The 4x200 team of Theresa Wemhoff, Uhlenkott, Jordyn Higgins and McWlliams had a time of 1:58.98 while the 4x400 team of Higgins, McWilliams, Chaye Uptmor and Uhlenkott had a time of 4:23.69. Uptmor won the 800 in a time of 2:34.05 and was second in the 1600 in 6:04.85. Kristyne Krogh was second in the 3200 in 13:31.26, third in the 1600 in 6:12.38 and 7th in the long jump at 131½. Wemhoff placed second in the 100 in 14.13 and second in the 200 in 31.07. Higgins was second in the 800 in 2:44.47 and fourth in the long jump at 137. Krista Hess was third in the 200 in 31.10 and 8th in the long jump at 1210½. Madison Ulmer was third in the discus at 835 and 14th in the shot put at 22½. Maria Schmidt was 9th in the 100 in 15.07 and 6th in the 200 in 32.52. Bailie Gehring was 6th in the discus at 770 and 13th in the shot at 229. Emma Gehring was 8th in the discus at 710 and 8th in the shot put at 249 The 4x100 relay team of Wemhoff, Hess, Krogh and Schmidt placed second in 58.88. For the boys team Sean Spencer was involved in both of their event wins as he placed first in the 1600 in 5:04.59 and the 4x200 relay team of Raice Dalgleish, Spencer, Ray Zhang and Luke Wemhoff placed first in 1:41.14. Spencer also placed second in the 400 in 55;68 and 7th in the long jump at 174. Wemhoff was also third in the 400 in 56.54, 8th in the triple jump at 346 and 10th in the long jump at 167. Grant Gehring was second in the 1600 in 5:29.85; third in the 3200 in 11:53.49 and 7th in the 300 hurdles in 55.50. Caleb McWilliams was 3rd in the 1600 in 5:30.61 and 16th in the shot at 299½. Kevin Tillinghast was 6th in the 1600 in 5:43.16 and 8th in the 3200 in 12:44.16. Andrew Everson was 4th in the discus at 1049 and 9th in the shot at 356. Carson Schmidt was 5th in the discus at 1041, 7th in the shot at 360 and 14th in the 100 in 13.34. Isaiah Shears was 6th in the discus at 1006, 9th in the 100 in 13.02 and 12th in the shot put at 320. Dalgliesh was 7th in the 400 in 59.60 and 12th in the long jump at 161. Zhang was 10th in the 200 in 26.94 and 9th in the 400 in 1:01.22. Drew Dinning was 17th in the 200 in 20.41 and 21st in the discus at 724. Brandon Latimer was 18th in the 200 in 31.08; 19th in the 400 in 1:08.82 and 23rd in the 100 in 14.12. Tucker Hibbard was 17th in the discus at 778 and 22nd in the shot at 2610½. The 4x100 team of Dinning, Hibbard, McWilliams and Schmidt was 9th in 58.82. As a team the boys placed 4th with 83 points.
