breaks school record in 800
The Prairie Lady Pirates track team took the first place team trophy at the White Pine League Meet Saturday, April 30 at Kamiah. Mykaela McWilliams won three individual events while Chaye Uptmor won the 800 with a new school record time and Laney Uhlenkott won the 200. McWilliams won the 100 hurdles in 17.19, the 300 hurdles in 48.59 and the long jump in 161. Uptmor won the 800 in 2:24.70 breaking Katie Jo Forsmann school record of 2:26.6 set in 2001. Uptmor was also second in the 1600 in 5:59.80. Uhlenkott won the 200 in 28.29 and was also 3rd in the 400 in 1:05.20. Theresa Wemhoff took 2nd in the 100 in 14.57 and was 8th in the 200 in 33.34. Kristyna Krogh was 2nd in the 3200 in 13:26.88, 4th in the 1600 in 6:02.31 and 12th in the long jump at 126½. Jordyn Higgins was 4th in the 800 in 2:39.91 and 16th in the long jump at 119. Krista Hess was 6th in the 200 in 32.45 and 18th in the long jump at 116. Maria Schmidt was 7th in the 500 in 1:13.79 and 18th in the 100 in 15.62. Bailie Gehring was 9th in the discus at 800 and 15th in the shot at 227. Emma Gehring was 10th in the discus at 252 and 13th in the discus at 740. Madison Ulmer was 11th in the discus at 7510 and 13th in the shot at 2210½. The 4x400 relay team of Higgins, Uptmor, Uhlenkott and McWilliams placed 1st with a time of 4:30.25. The 4x200 team of Wemhoff, Hess, Higgins and Uhlenkott placed 2nd in 1:58.85. The 4x100 team of Wemhoff Hess, Krogh and Schmidt placed 4th in 59.30. The boys team placed 8th out of 12 teams with 31 pts. Sean Spencer was the top individual placer with a 4th in the 1600 in 4:54.11. He was also 5th in the long jump at 1711. Luke Wemhoff was 5th in the 400 with a time of 56.26 and 11th in the long jump at 170. Grant Gehring was 7th in the 3200 in 11:51.43, 8th in the 1600 in 5:20.92 and 10th in the 300 hurdles in 54.04. Carson Schmidt was 7th in the shot put at 368 and 8th in the discus at 1070. Kevin Tillinghast was 8th in the 3200 in 13:28.30 and 16th in the 1600 in 5:41.13. Raice Dalgliesh was 9th in the 400 in 57.74. Andrew Everson was 11th in the shot at 345 and 13th in the discus at 910. Caleb McWilliams was 16th in the shot at 3010½ and 12th in the 1600 at 5:22.64. Brandon Latimer was 20th in the 400 in 1:08.61, 32nd in the 200 in 30.00 and 41st in the 100 in 13.88. Tucker Hibbard was 21st in the discus at 751 and 23rd in the shot at 273½. Drew Dinning was 27th in the discus at 5811 and 45th in the 100 meter dash in 14.03. Ray Zhang was 27th in the 100 in 13.14. The 4x200 relay team of Zhang, Dalgliesh, McWilliams and Wemhoff was third in 1:41.47. The 4x400 team of Zhang, Dalgliesh, Spencer and Wemhoff was also third in 3:56.04. The 4x100 team of Latimer, Dinning, McWilliams and Schmidt was 10th in 55.19.
