Pint Size Interview:
When asked “What do you like about Story Hour?” Five year old Liam Castricum quickly answered, “Books!” Is there anything else? “I like to take books home.” What kind of books? “Magic School Bus, my mom reads them to me. I like reading; I can read Frog and Toad.” Liam is always excited to read the newly borrowed books. When he gets back from Story Hour he sits on the couch with his brother and sister going through each while mom makes lunch. After lunch there is time for reading.
When asked about his family he told us he has a 3 year old sister, Corlisse and a one year old brother, Tiernan. There are also grandparents and aunts and uncles in different parts of the country who he misses very much.
He shared with us “We moved here for Summit.   Dad teaches there. Mom goes to school to teach art to 5th and 6th graders every Thursday and we get to go. Dad doesn’t have a class at that time so he keeps us in his classroom. It is fun!” Liam and his siblings are faithful attendants at Tuesday morning Story Hour and a wonderful asset to the group. Thanks for the interview Liam, so glad to have you as a regular. See you next week.
