Library News
A reminder that Story Hour for pre-school children will continue each week during the summer from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays. Bring your little ones and enjoy the stories along with activities and snacks.
The following is a note from one of the mothers who shares her thoughts on story hour:
"I have been taking my kids to the library since we participated in the summer reading program this past summer. My kids enjoy going to story hour and often ask during the week when it is time to go to the library. As a parent I started to take them
to the library to spark some interest in reading. It is also a great way for me to have new books to read to my children at home. I asked my son (age 5) what he likes about the library, he said "it is pretty fun and I like listening to the books." He also mentioned that he likes snack time! I asked him what his favorite books are and he replied, "The Berenstein Bears and Miss Frizzle (The Magic School Bus)" The library’s story hour has become an activity that my kids look forward to every Tuesday."
