Excavators team wins tournament
There were 9 teams participating in this year’s Knights of Columbus Swing and a Prayer Golf Tournament. Finishing in 1st Place was Seubert Excavators 2nd Place went to Western States Team and in 3rd Place were last year’s winners, Salt and Light Radio Other participants in no particular order: Blackmer Funeral Home, Advanced Welding and Steel, US Bank, Alaska National, Inland Cellular and City Electric The tournament was 9 holes and the winning team finished with a 13 under par with the 2nd and 3rd place team finishing with 12 under, each. The forecast predicted 90% chance of rain at the start of the tournament and through the event, fortunately, the rain didn’t start until just after the event was over. The winning team donated the winning money back to the event to go towards the charities.
