New business in Cottonwood
Megan Lorentz of Grangeville has opened a new business, Massage Boutique, in the Simon Building in Cottonwood in the space formerly occupied by Wemhoff Architecture.
Lorentz is originally from Kendrick and went to school at LCSC for medical office practices. She then decided she wanted something different and went into massage therapy. She graduated from LCSC in 2005 and after visiting the massage school, moved a month later to Coeur d’Alene to attend the American Institute of Clinical Massage. She graduated from there in 2006 and started into business in December 2006. After time spent working in salons she decided to add more to her practice and in 2011 attended the American Academy of Nail Technology and Esthetics.
She married Duke Lorentz, originally of Keuterville, and they always talked about moving back to the prairie once they started having a family. She had this dream of having a little shop to call her own. Fast forward 4½ years and two kids later, here they are on the prairie and she has opened her own shop.
She says she has always loved health and wellness as well as the beauty field and can’t wait to continue.
Services she offers are massage: $40 for 60 minutes, $60 for 90 minutes; nails: gel nails, $15; polish, $10; toes only, $10; other services: pedicure, $20; lash extensions, $50 and lash fills, $30. She will be looking at adding other services later.
You can call her for an appointment at 208-640-4645.
