Letters to the editor from this week's Chronicle:

Redneck Review
No. 69 8/15/2016
Last week, the RNR chose to disagree with an article by Chris Carlson in the Tribune, Aug. 5, stating: "Hillary Clinton is a far superior candidate...for president than Trump."
Though I respect Carlson's opinion, adding "I remain puzzled by those who say Clinton is a 'liar' and that she cannot be trusted... What public trust has she violated?" Well, I say, the evidence is overwhelming! However, it remains to be seen whether even that type of evidence will sway any of her followers! Or if any of them might be willing to examine the huge volumes of evidence available today! Evidence even in the Lewiston Tribune!
Just today, August 10, you will find tucked back on p. 4A, an article entitled, "Emails by Clinton show State Department-foundation links." A long article which needs to be read in its entirety includes the following evidence spoken of above: "Newly released emails from a top aide to Hillary Clinton (Huma Abedin) show evidence of contacts between Clinton's State Department and donors to her family foundation and political campaigns." The article says elsewhere, "The conservative group Judicial Watch... released 296 emails Tuesday, most sent to or from Abedin, not necessarily Clinton...but included 44 previously unreleased exchanges sent or received by Clinton... including a mix of State Department and personal emails."
Judicial Watch (admittedly a conservative group), said "it has now found 171 messages that were not included in the 30,000 emails Clinton turned over to the State Department." Immediately following "FBI Director James Comey has said that his agency found 'several thousand' work-related emails that weren't turned over by Clinton's lawyers."
In another paragraph in the article, one reads that "Doug Band, a senior staff member at the Clinton Foundation...asked Abedin and Cheryl Mills, Clinton's chief of staff, to put Lebanese Nigerian billionaire Gillbert Chagoury in touch with a State Department 'substance person' on Lebanon." His group "has given between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation according to a list of donors posted on line." Hmmm! Pretty generous!!
Admittedly, the above article might not cause a person to drop voting for Clinton! But I claim here that a careful study of the books mentioned last week would leave little doubt in one's mind that Hillary is not someone Americans should want for president!
Consider Gary Byrne's book UNCOVERING CLINTON for example! Byrne, a presidential guard right there next to the elder George Bush and Bill Clinton will document things about Bill and Hillary that definitely would make them unfit for president if widely known. It is true that the internet reveals a harsh critique of Byrne, but notice that the critic, Media Matters, a protege of the super liberal George Soros (an Obama and Hillary backer), can be found on the internet directly associated with Hillary herself!
And do not read a lengthy Morris book, ARMAGEDDON, (now 3rd on the best seller list), or D'Souza's HIILARY'S AMERICA, or Beck's LIARS, if you are unwilling to deal with mountains of documentation hard to refute and convincing that Hillary is an avid socialist! Which right now reminds me of an old quotation I have on file: "We cannot expect the Americans to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving America small doses of Socialism, until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism." (Soviet Leader Nikita Krushchev shortly before U.S. visit in 1959).
