Crosscountry team at Seaport Invite
Grant Gehring and freshman Jacey Rambo were Prairie’s top finishers at the Seaport Invite Crosscountry MeetKylie Tidwell and Jacey Rambo. held at Clarkston Saturday, Sept. 17.
There were 114 runners in the boys varsity race with Gehring finishing in 83rd place with a time of 20:07.16, about 4:30 back of the winner from Lewiston.
Luke Schwartz placed 94th in 21:28.18 with James Villamor in 97th in 21:43.19. Luis Flores was 101st in 22:47.44 with Ryan Glimp in 105th in 23:34.31 and Brandon Latimer in 113th in 26:43.96.
As a team the boys placed 16th with 450 points.
The girls varsity race had 85 competitors and the Prairie girls team was grouped pretty well together with all five runners finishing within 50 seconds of each other. Rambo placed 56th in 24:02.71 to lead the girls team. Another freshman, Ciara Chaffee was 2 spots back in 58th in 24:14.43. Kylie Tidwell was 61st in 24:28.06 with Kendra Duclos in 63rd in 24:29.72 and Calli Perrin in 66th in 24:49.84.
As a team the girls placed 10th with 274 points. 
In the JV girls race Prairie had 5 more runners, enough for a team, as they finished 4th as a team with 97 points.
Hope McIntire was the top finisher in the JV race for Prairie with a 28th place finish in 26:07.02. Jessie Sonnen was 30th in 26:20.29 with Kodie Tidwell in 36th in 27:13.79; Sierah Poxleitner in 41st in 28:09.89 and Madison Ulmer in 45th in 28:36.14. 
Prairie placed 4th in the JV team competition with 97 points.
