In their next to last regular season match the Summit Patriots were swept by Logos at Moscow Tuesday, Oct. 4. Scores were 22-25, 12-25 and 19-25. With the loss Summit drops to 7-4 in league play and 7-5 overall. They are pretty well locked into the third seed going into District. Summit to play District opener at 2:30 Saturday Summit Academy’s volleyball team will enter the District 2, Division 2 volleyball tournament as the #3 seed. They will open play at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at the LCSC Activity Center against the Highland vs. Timberline play-in winner. That match takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday. If they win they will play again on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. against #2 seed Logos. If they lose they will play again at 7 p.m. Saturday against the loser of the Kendrick vs. the Nezperce/Deary winner match.. The tournament continues on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 17-18-19. Except for the #6 vs. #7 play-in match, the tournament is full double elimination for the championship.
