Open 'Til Midnight and Family Shopping Day event is this weekend
The Center For Discovery's annual Open 'Til Midnight and Family Shopping Day is taking place this weekend. Friday, December 2 the center will be opened from after school until midnight. We will watch your kids for $2.00 per hour while you get some of your holiday errands done. We will provide dinner, snacks, movies, and crafts. The kids will also have the opportunity to do their Christmas Shopping for their family members. The Center will then be opened on Saturday from 8:00 until noon for everyone to come and shop for themselves. Just come to the backdoor by the cafeteria and shop until you drop. All gifts are priced on suggested donation. We will provide gift wrapping. All are welcome. We are also looking for more donations if you have new or gently used items laying around your house. Just bring them by the Center or call Erin Shears and she can come and pick them up. If you are looking to get in the holiday spirit we will also be in need of volunteers to help wrap gifts on Friday night from after school until 8:00. Any amount of time that you would be willing to volunteer would be much appreciated. |
