Summit girls lose twice
The good news is that the Summit Academy Lady Patriots held Deary to just 19 points in their game Friday, Dec. 9 at Deary. The bad news is they only scored 15 themselves as they lost their third straight game.
Summit trailed 4-5 after one quarter but rallied in the second quarter to take a 12-10 lead at the half.
The two teams combined for just 2 points in the third quarter, both by Deary as the game was tied at 12-12 after 3 quarters.
Deary then outscored Summit 3-7 in the fourth.
Taylor Lustig led the Patriots in scoring with 6 points with Ally Sonnen scoring 5 and Lauren Stubbers 4.
Summit’s game at Timberline scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 6, was postponed due to the fact that Timberline called off school that day due to weather.
Summit is now 0-3 on the season and in league play.
