CIAA gives art demonstrations, lessons at school
Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) member, Pearl Maxner, demonstrated and gave art lessons to both Junior High and High Schoolers at Kamiah January 5th and 6th. Kamiah BBQ Days ultimately provided this venue. A private CIAA donor gave $100 worth of supplies to Kamiah art teacher, Ben Henderson, for promoting arts in the schools. Ms. Maxner teaches watercolor annually in March at the Monastery of St. Gertrude Spirit Center. She currently teaches art at the Kamiah Bible School Academy. Other CIAA members will be demonstrating at the Kamiah school this next semester.
