Nearly 50 attend Idaho County Democrats breakfast
Nearly fifty people attended a breakfast hosted by the Idaho County Democrats, Sunday morning, January 29.  The event was held at the Soltman Center on Main Street in Grangeville.  The free breakfast featured fruit salad, breakfast casseroles, crumbles, breads, coffee, tea and juice. The entire county was represented from Pollock to Kamiah and Elk City to Winchester.  
The meat of the meeting was a presentation given by Mat Erpelding of Idaho State Legislative District 12, Boise.  Erpelding reported on the current legislative actions focusing on issues surrounding public lands, economy and education as well as the future of Idaho.  The detrimental impacts of current and proposed federal regulations on Idaho County agricultural economy was discussed.
Tom Hamilton, IDP and photographer Dean Ferguson were also in attendance.  Hamilton gave an update on the current IDP Chair, Sally Boynton-Brown's campaign for National Democratic Party Chair.
