Fairley to judge show
Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) is honored to have Judy Fairley as judge for its 50th Anniversary Spring Show. The show opens Wednesday, May 3, 5:00 to 7:00pm,following Ms. Fairley’s critique for participating artists, is complimentary refreshment and music. The show continues May 4 and 5, 9:00am to 5:00pm and includes traditional local elementary school tours. The show concludes May 6, 10:00am to 4:00pm. Historical scrapbooks and information will be on display. The Featured Artists is the work of CIAA Founding Members as was available. (For more information contact ciaa.idaho@gmail.com )
CIAA judge, Judy Fairley, teaches pastel through Walla Walla Community College. Her affiliation with the college and the Valley Art Center has been 40 years in the making. She grew up in Clarkston, WA where she and her twin sister helped on the family's horse and cattle ranch. Her experiences while growing up have provided her with endless hours of painting material. 
She has shown all across the country; from Washington D.C. to Chicago to Texas to California and more. She has been affiliated with "Women Artist of the West" for 39 years and was an area director for several of those years.
She is also a member and president of the Snake River Showcase Organization and a participating artist with the "Snake River Showcase-Coop Residing at the Dahmen Artisan Barn in Uniontown, WA."
Advisory board member and member of the board of directors of the celebration of western art and the Fred Oldfield Western Heritage Center located in Puyallup, Washington.
