Things fell apart for Troy in the sixth. Kodie Tidwell started the inning by reaching on an error and then stole second. Noelle Uhlenkott scored Tidwell with a single up the middle.
At that point Troy’s pitcher seemed to run out of gas as she walked the Kylie Tidwell and Faith Uhlenkott with Noelle advancing to third on a wild pitch to Tidwell and scoring on a wild pitch to her sister Faith.
Ross then doubled home both remaining baserunners. Remacle was hit by a pitch and another wild pitch advanced both runners. Bruner then singled to left to score both baserunners. At this point there was 6 runs scored and still no one out.
Bruner was then forced at second for the first out of the inning. Peery singled to left and Kodie Tidwell hit a grounder toward third that got deflected to the shortstop who threw out Higgins trying to score.

Higgins then reached on a swinging strike 3 passed ball with another run scoring to make it 13 runs in the inning and a 19-5 lead.
Faith Uhlenkott then just needed to get through the bottom of the sixth without allowing more than 4 runs and the game would be over. After the long inning though she came out and walked the first 3 batters on just 13 pitches and the 1 strike was a swinging strike at a pitch out of the zone. The leadoff hitter scored on a wild pitch. Uhlenkott then found the strike zone getting a 0-2 count before inducing a popup to Kylie Tidwell at short. The next hitter then singled to score 2 runs.
