Ride set for Sunday
The Idaho Lewis County Cattle Association's annual trail ride and potluck will be held Sunday June 11th at the home of Frank and Pam McIntire. Join us with your horse or 4 wheeler-- everyone is welcome! Plan to arrive in advance so that everyone is ready to ride by 10:00 a.m. Following the 2-3 hour ride, there will a covered dish potluck dinner. Hot dogs will be provided as well as water for drinking. There is a $2.00 charge. Bring chairs, drinks and tableware for yourself and a potluck dish to share. To get to where the trail ride begins, go to Kamiah, get on highway 12, start towards Kooskia. When you cross the bridge over the Clearwater River turn left on Woodland Road. Stay left on the pavement until pavement ends about 14 miles. When the pavement ends continue straight ahead to Pardee corner, then turn right on carrot ridge road. Take the first left at the three mail boxes up a hill. They are the first house. Total drive time from Cottonwood is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
