Summit loses twice
The Summit Lady Patriots lost a pair of league game this past week. On Tuesday, Jan. 16 they hosted Nezperce and lost 37-54. On Friday, Jan. 19 they traveled to Deary and lost 41-59.
Vs. Nezperce
Nezperce jumped out to a 2-17 lead after the first quarter and led 8-28 by halftime.
Nezperce led 17-42 after three quarters with Summit rallying for 20 points in the fourth quarter to close the final margin to 17.
Lauren Stubbers scored 13 points to lead the Patriots in scoring. Taylor Lustig added 8 points with Erin Chmelik and Claira Osborne adding 6 each and Lexi Currier 4.

At Deary
Deary outscored the Patriots in each of the first 3 quarters as they steadily built their lead.
They led 12-19 after 1 quarter, 23-32 at the half and 28-46 after 3 quarters. Summit was able to play them even in the fourth quarter.
Osborne led the Patriots in scoring with 13 points including her first 3-pointer of the season. Currier added 12 with Erin Chmelik and Lustig scoring 6 each and Jessie Sonnen 4. Stubbers was apparently unable to play.
Summit is now 5-6 in both league play and overall.
