District starts next week
The Prairie boys will be the #2 seed into the 1AD1 District 2 Tournament which starts Saturday with a play-in game. Prairie will open play Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the LCSC Activity Center against the highest seed coming out of Monday’s first round games. The likely opponent would be third seeded Potlatch. #1 seed Lapwai plays at 6 p.m. Tuesday’s winners will play for the District championship on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. The losers come back Wednesday, Feb. 14 for loser out games. Another loser out game will precede the championship game on the 20th. The winner of that game will play the championship game loser on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. for second place at District. That winner will play Wallace at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at Post Falls High School for a trip to State.
