Smoke alarms available to Cottonwood citizens
The City of Cottonwood Fire Department has smoke alarms available for local residents through a program called “Home Fire Preparedness Campaign”.
By partnering with the American Red Cross, our Fire Department will be able to install up to three smoke alarms (10-year life battery) per home, create an escape plan or replace batteries in your current smoke alarm if it is less than 10 years old and still in working condition.
By ensuring households have working smoke alarms and teaching people how to prepare for disaster, our local firemen will be helping our community increase their chance of survival when disasters happen.
If you are in need or know of someone in need of smoke alarms, please stop by Cottonwood City Hall or call Carol at City Hall 208-962-3231 or email at cottonwd@idaho.net with your name, address and contact information.
