girls 4x200 win at Lapwai
The girls 4x200 relay and Ciara Chaffee in the 800 each finished in first place at the 22 school Central Idaho Invitational Track Meet held at Lapwai Saturday, March 17. 
The team of Ellea Uhlenkott, Sierra McWilliams, Jordyn Higgins and Laney Uhlenkott had a first place time of 1:56.23. Chaffee finished in a tie for first in the 800 in 2:39.55 with Hallie Jensen of Lakeside (of Nine Mile Falls in Washington). Chaffee was also 4th in the 1600 in 6:13.14. Sean Spencer had the highest finish for the Prairie boys team with 3rd place finishes in both the 200 meter dash in 24.66 and the 800 meter run in 2:10.32. Spencer was also 4th in the 1600 in 5:22.70 and 6th in the long jump at 18’3”. Also finishing high for the girls team was the 4x100 relay which took 2nd place. Ellea Uhlenkott, Higgins, Chaffee and Laney Uhlenkott had a time of 56.13. Laney Uhlenkott also placed 2nd in the 400 in 1:06.27 and 4th in the 200 in 30.16. Higgins was 6th in the 200 in 30.34 and 5th in the 400 in 1:09.68. Kristyna Krogh placed 6th in the 1600 in 6:44.68, 11th in the 400 in 1:17.70 and 11th in the 3200 in 14:11.62. McWilliams placed 3rd in the 1600 in 6:09.45 and 4th in the 800 in 2:42.10. Ellea Uhlenkott was 4th in the 300 hurdles in 55.52 and 13th in the 100 hurdles in 19.88. Koleen Hasselstrom was 6th in the shot put with a mark of 28’2” and 31st in the discus with a mark of 53’4”. Trista Latimer was 37th in the shot put at 18’10” and 43rd in the discus at 45’8”. As a team the girls place 3rd with 74 points behind Lakeside and Asotin, both of Washington. For the boys team Cole Martin was 5th in the 200 in 25.16, 11th in the 100 in 12.15 and 7th in the long jump at 18’2”. Carson Schmidt was 4th in the shot put at 39’10” and 5th in the discus at 110’10”. Hayden Uhlenkott was 9th in the discus at 102’5” and 33rd in the shot put at 27’9”. Matt Coppernoll was 10th in the discus at 101’7” and 31st in the shot put at 28’0”. Tucker Hibbard was 11th in the discus at 100’0” and 27th in the shot at 28’11”. John Gehring was 27th in the discus at 70’9”. Reid Uptmor was 24th in the 400 in 1:08.27, 38th in the discus at 63’7” and 40th in the shot at 26’8”. Ryan Arnzen was 44th in the shot put at 24’7.5”. Caleb McGee was 15th in the 200 in 26.83, 30th in the 100 in 12.84 and 59th in the long jump at 12’10”. Justin Locket was 6th in the 3200 in 11:34.06 and 24th in the 1600 in 6:12.47. James Villamor was 18th in the 3200 in 12:53.33 and 33rd in the 800 in 2:43.74. Zac Arnzen was 26th in the 400 in 1:09.28. Tyler Wemhoff was 27th in the 400 in 1:11.54. Daniel Megale was 45th in the 100 in 14.42. The 4x200 relay team of Zac Arnzen, Gehring, Megale and Wemhoff was 12th in 1:55.63. The 4x100 relay team of the same four runners was 19th in 55.50. As a team the boys finished 6th with 37.5 points.
