April events for Tri-Parish Youth
Dear Youth in Christ, 
The month of April is finally upon on which hopefully brings with it the warmth of the sun and the feeling of Spring.  We are all so ready for a season of newness.  It has truly been a long winter.  What is great through is that we are guaranteed the hope of newness, as this month we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, where death is truly conquered, and hope is made manifest. What a great promise we have in Jesus!
We will begin the month of April with Spring Break and I will be gone for vacation.  Please enjoy your time with family and friends.
Please consider joining us on First Friday, April 6th at 10:00 p.m. for Adoration at St. Mary’s.  We are so blessed to have Maddie Rehder and Michael Rehder sing and play music during this special time of prayer.  Please know everyone, young and old is invited to this special hour with our Lord! 
On April 6th the Confirmation class will meet at the CEC for Confirmation class at 9:15   We are also inviting the sponsors to attend this class with the Confirmation candidates. We will also  have breakfast provided as part of our class.   On April 9th Debbie will be attending a diocesan meeting in Grangeville at 7:00 p.m. 
On April 10th the team that is planning the Jr. High retreat will be meeting at the Habit at 7:00 p.m.  The High school youth who will be leading the skit, games, and rosary are asked to be present.  We will be finalizing plans for our May 5th retreat.  
On April 11th the High School leadership group will be hosting a bible study at the OMG room at 7:00 p.m.  We will have pizza at the 6:30. Any high school youth who is interested in attending is invited to attend.  
On April 16th the Haiti mission team will be meeting at the OMG room at 7:00 p.m. to plan their pancake breakfast which will take place on April 22nd at St. Mary’s Church from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  
On April 18th the Jr. High will meet at the OMG at 700 for “Life Night”.  We will be serving pizza at 6:30.  
On April 22nd the Haiti team will be hosting a pancake breakfast after the 8:00 a.m. Mass at St. Mary’s.  The menu will consist of sour dough pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit cup and juice or coffee.  Please come and support our final fundraiser before we leave for Haiti in June!  Thank you in advance for your support. 
On Monday, April 23rd the Confirmation retreat planning team will meet at the Habit at 7:00 p.m. to finalize plans for our May 6th retreat.   On April 25th, the Jr. High and High will be having a social.  Please watch the bulletin for more details.  
On April 30th the High School youth who will be helping with the Jr. High retreat in May are asked to meet at the OMG room at 7:00 p.m.  We will have food at 6:30 p.m. followed by skit practice and game and prayer review for the upcoming retreat.  Please be present for this important night! 
May the Lord always fill us with hope and lead us to joy.  May each step we take this month be out of gratitude for a God who is willing to walk with us in everything we do!  Thank you, Jesus, for giving us new life!  Happy Easter everyone!
