Youth football team saves woman
After winning the Spring National Football Championship in San Jose, the Boise Black Knights youth football team added heroes to its list of accomplishments.  Coming around a corner near Jordan Valley, Oregon, the team came upon an accident. The young men and coaches helped lift the wrecked car off of the injured lady inside.  Although not at the scene with his teammates, Mason McHugh, grandson of Mick and Judy Forsman and Eugene and Jo Ann McHugh said he was very proud of his teammates and coaches. “It’s pretty cool what they did.” The team had a perfect season this year and won their division of the Rocky Mountain Football League in May before earning their trophy in San Jose.  The team is now raising money to play in Southern California in August. Rudy Jackson of Boise is the team’s head coach.
