5K Run held
On Saturday June 2nd the Cross-Country team along with some great sponsors put on their second annual Pirate Run 5K. A beautiful day with great temperatures and sunshine gave the runners and walkers a great opportunity to compete. Overall winners were Grant Gehring in the Men’s race and Jordyn Higgins in the Woman’s run. We have some great runners coming up in the younger divisions and its nice to see medals around the necks of some of our more experienced runners also. Everyone’s participation was greatly appreciated in supporting the Prairie Cross Country team. Race Sponsors included: Klapprich Ag and Auto, Sonnen Meats, Uhlenkott Well Drilling, Freds Body Shop, St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics, Christensen Orthodontics, Harmon Agency, Cottonwood Community Credit Union, Live Wire Electric, Cottonwood Foods, The Habit, Idaho Forest Group, Keuterville Pub and Grub, GTS Trucking, Buds Power Sports and the Prairie Booster Club.
