Prairie Jr./Sr. High registration set for August 9
* Registration for “new” Junior High and/or High School Students is from 9:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, August 9.
* New Students will need their birth certificate and immunization records
* Registration for “current” Junior High and/or High School Students is from noon until 6:00 p.m.
* Mandatory Advanced Opportunity/Dual Credit Registration parent/student meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.  This is for students who plan to take dual credits (mainly juniors and seniors) this year and those who would like more information about these programs are also welcome.
* Mandatory High School sports meeting for participants in all high school sports and their parents at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria
The fees for the 2018-19 school year will be as follows:
High School Activity Card, $60.00
High School Yearbook, $55.00
High School Class Dues, $10.00
Chemistry (if enrolled), $20.00
Prairie League, Dues-$10.00
Knowledge Bowl Dues-$5.00
Lunches (Grades 7-12)-$2.65 per lunch
FFA Dues-$25.00
Junior High Class Fee, $10.00
BPA Dues-$30.00
Junior High PE Uniform, $18.00
HOSA (if enrolled in med. tech.), $25.00
Junior High Activity Card, $25.00
Band Rental Fee (if offered), $35.00 per year
All Prairie students (including Junior High) participating in any school activity; sports, band, knowledge bowl, etc. need to pay the activity fee and the class dues. The activity fee allows the students to play any sport and/or attend any home sporting event; the Junior High activity fee also allows the Junior High students to attend the High School games without paying.  The yearbook is optional.  Girls interested in joining the girls club; Prairie League need to pay the $10 fee at registration.  All activity fees must be paid before participation in extracurricular activities.
IDLA fees must be paid at registration in order to be enrolled in fall classes.
HOSA fees must also be paid on registration day in order to be enrolled in med tech classes.
All student/athletes grades 7, 9, 11, and first time athletes will need to have a new physical on file in the office before you can participate or practice in football, volleyball, cheerleading or any winter/spring sport. If you had your physical or are going to get your physical at St. Mary’s Clinic, we will have your forms on file.  If you had it done somewhere else, please bring your completed physical forms to the office at the time of registration.
