Information about Grief Share
Grief Share is a ministry that tends to the needs of community members that are in need of guidance as they deal with the death of a family member, spouse, or a friend. Grief Share is bible based but it is non-denominational.  We welcome those from all faiths as well as those who are non-church goers. There are 12 classes which include a video, discussion group and a workbook.  It is designed to be a comfortable setting in which people can share, learn and discover ways to move through this new journey they are on.
In the 12 weeks we cover numerous topics: Here are some of the topics
· Is this normal?
· Grief and your relationships
· Guilt and anger
· Are you stuck?
· The challenges of grief
· What do I live for now?
Here are a few testimonies:
*** Grief Share is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
***Going to Grief Share feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering. At Grief Share, you are safe.
*** Even though I was quiet during the discussion group time I gained a lot of insight. The workbook and video helped me to gain confidence that I could manage this new journey and start a “new normal” life.
It does not matter when you experienced a loss: time and grief have no boundaries. It does not matter whether you lost a baby, young child, teenager, adult child, a family member, spouse, parents or a close friend. This group is designed to help you through your personal struggles and help heal your heart and mind.
