17 out for Cross Country
Prairie has 17 out for Cross Country this year, 9 girls and 8 boys.
According to head coach Glenn Poxleitner, “Both the boys and girls teams are strong contenders to make it to State.   We have all of the girls back from last year’s State team and with a little luck and some healthy bodies at the end, I think this team has a chance of doing very well.    The boys team picked up some new members and although they look good at practice,  getting in the meets will really tell us where we are.   I’m excited to see just how good we can be at the end of the year.”
Girls turned out are: Kendra Duclos, Hope McIntire, Maria Schmidt, Ciara Chaffee, Jacey Rambo,  Jessie Sonnen (from Summit Academy), Kerri Villamor, Kyleigh Duclos and Mattie Lustig.
Boys are Tanner Hibbard, Devin Ross, James Villamor, Tyler Robb, Ryan Arnzen, Justin Lockett, William Hooper and Alex McElroy.
