Booster Bulletin
Another fantastic fall sport season is working towards a close, and all our teams are in the hunt for a State berth.   Their seasons have generated some amazing and fantastic games and some pretty cool results.
Volleyball is battling for the 2nd seed from our district and has been playing some inspired volleyball leading up to the district tournament which starts Saturday in Lewiston.  This team plays with intensity and a love of the game.  Come support our volleyball team as they try to finish up what has been a very successful season with a trip to Boise for the State Tournament.
The fourth Season of Prairie Cross Country has brought 19 athletes out to compete in 3.1 mile races on some rugged courses from Moose Creek Reservoir to Deyo Reservoir to the city park and along the dikes in Clarkston.  Both the Boys and Girls teams have set themselves up to challenge for a spot to the State Meet this year.  The District meet will be October 18th at a TBD time at the LCSC course by the New Lewiston High School.   Come join these athletes and cheer them on as they attempt to make a little history on the Boys side in being the first boys’ team to make it to state.   The girls will be going for a fourth trip in as many years, but the competition is tough.
Friday night lights have shown brightly this year for the Prairie football team.  The don’t blink or you’ll miss it statement seems to be true.  We have been scoring a lot of points and pretty much dominating opponents.  Come out Friday and check out these young men as they wear their Prairie pride in the last home football game of the season.   And then follow them as they too, chase the state championship they so dearly would like to play for again this year.
The Booster Club would like to thank all those who have supported us and our teams this fall, and we hope to see you through out the school year.  Check out the new pirate gear ordered by many people this year.  We still have some hats available and as always you can order your own designer pirate gear if you want to.  Ask for information from any of our officers.
And one last item is a booster club social event after the game on Friday.  The Wolf Tracks Brewery has offered to stay open after the game for a gathering of anyone who wants to attend.   Light snacks, pop and water will be provided by the booster club.   Come join in a booster club meet and greet immediately following the game.
And as Always, GO PIRATES!
