Summit Christmas program set for Dec. 12
Please join us for Summit Academy's 'A Christmas Carol: Conversion of Heart' on Wednesday, December 12th at 7 pm in the school gym.  The musical production involves all students and tells of the well-known character Scrooge and his journey to find the true meaning of Christmas.  Refreshments will be served following the play.

Summit loses twice
The Summit Lady Patriots lost a pair of league games this past week. On Tuesday, Nov. 27 they lost 40-41 in overtime to Logos at Cottonwood. On Friday, Nov. 30 they lost 30-44 at Kendrick.
Vs. Logos
The game against Logos was close throughout. Summit led 9-7 after one quarter but trailed 16-20 at the half. After 3 quarters Summit had retaken the lead at 26-25. Logos however outscored Summit 7-8 in both the fourth quarter and in overtime to pull out the win.
Taylor Lustig led the Patriots in scoring with 16 points with Jade Prigge also in double figures with 10. Erin Chmelik and Lexi Currier scored 4 each while Jessie Sonnen, Dani Sonnen and Jiyun Iam scored 2 each.

At Kendrick
In the game at Kendrick the Tigers outscored Summit in every quarter but the fourth. 
They led 10-15 after 1 quarter, 14-27 at the half and 20-39 after 3 quarters. Summit outscored them 10-5 in the fourth quarter.
Lustig again led the Patriots in scoring with 12 points with Currier scoring 7, Prigge 6, Chmelik 3 and Jessie Sonnen 2. 
Summit is now 1-2 on the season and in league play.
