Summit wins at Logos
The Summit Academy Lady Patriots ended 2018 on a positive note as they won 53-25 over Logos at Moscow Tuesday, Dec. 18.
The win evens the season series between the two teams as Summit lost in overtime earlier at Cottonwood.
Summit jumped out to a 10-4 lead by the end of the first quarter and also held that 6 point lead at the half, 20-14.
In the second half Summit pushed the ball harder upcourt and forced numerous Logos turnovers to outscore the Knights 18-7 in the third quarter and 15-4 in the fourth.
Taylor Lustig led the Patriots in scoring with 22 points with Erin Chmelik also hitting double figures with 11. Lexi Currier and Jade Prigge each scored 7 while Jessie Sonnen scored 4 and Dani Sonnen scored 2.
Summit ends 2018 with a 3-4 record both overall and in league play.
