Remacle takes 1st place
Marji Remacle competed with her Bronze team at the Great West Gym Fest in Coeur d'Alene, ID, on 02/24/19. She participated in the early 8:30 am session at the Coeur d'Alene Resort and came in first with a 37.625 overall score. At the award ceremony was Jonathan Horton, Olympic Silver Medalist at the Beijing Olympic Games. This was a special treat for everyone in attendance. Marji had the highest scores in her division on Vault (9.45) and Bars ((9.675). Rounding out the events were Beam (9.3) and Floor (9.2), both third place values. Also, her team of only three girls was awarded a third-place trophy team award. This was Marji's third competition and she increased her overall score by 1.175, which is a significant feat for this young athlete.
