VA Clinic patrons to be transitioned to VA Veteran’s Choice program
The Walla Walla VA Medical Center & Clinics is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare that improves our Veterans’ health and well-being matters. Veterans who have been receiving their VA healthcare at the Grangeville VA Clinic will be transitioning their healthcare to VA’s Veterans Choice Program, effective March 28, when the contract for that clinic expires. However, Veterans’ healthcare needs will continue to be met. Walla Walla VA Medical Center’s Care in the Community Department (CITC) is available to help enrolled Veterans transition care to the Syringa Hospital & Clinics, the Lewiston VA Clinic (in Lewiston), the Walla Walla VA Medical Center (in Walla Walla), or a provider/facility in your vicinity. Pertinent records relating to that episode of care will be transferred along with the authorization request. Please contact CITC at 509.527.3471 for assistance. Eligible Veterans who wish to sign up for VA healthcare benefits can contact Walla Walla VA’s Eligibility Department at 509.525.5200, extension 26952. Veterans can also sign up online at Walla Walla VA’s eligibility site: https://goo.gl/L69c3i. Eligible Veterans can choose to receive their care at any of Walla Walla VA Medical Center’s clinics or at a facility near their home.
