Pirates lost at Pomeroy
The Prairie Lady Pirates softball team dropped to 0-2 on the season after losing 2-7 at Pomeroy Thursday, March 28. Prairie was limited to just 3 hits and single runs in the second and fourth innings. Pomeroy meanwhile scored 2 in the first, 1 in the second and 1 in the third before adding 3 more in the sixth as they pounded out 9 hits and took advantage of 6 Prairie errors. Noelle Uhlenkott had a double while Hope Schwartz and Alexis Hiler each added a single for Prairie. Sydnee Bruegeman pitched for the Pirates.
