37 to graduate Friday
Prairie High School will graduate 37 seniors this Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. at the PHS gym.
The class will be led by co-valedictorians Kendra Duclos, Jordyn Higgins, Ellea Poxleitner and James Villamor. Co-Salutatorians are Kate Lustig and Sabrina Lustig.
13 additional students earned high honors for the high school career with a cumulative grade point average of greater than 3.50. They are Garrett Crenshaw, Emma Gehring, Alexis Hiler, Madison Hinkelman, Kristyna Krogh, Hope McIntire, Kace Munger, Madison Pecarovich, Dylan Schumacher, Spencer Schumacher, Paul Sonnen, Noelle Uhlenkott and Theresa Wemhoff.
10 students earned honors for having a cumulative grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49. They are Ryan Arnzen, Tate Berdoy, Conrad Duman, Joseph Jones, Tayler Ott, James Rainwater, Devin Ross, Maria Schmidt, Michael Schwartz and Kodie Tidwell.
The rest of the class includes Koleen Hasselstrom, Tanner Hibbard, Caleb McWilliams, Tyler Leonard, Carson Schmidt, Hayley Thompson, Julia Wemhoff and William Wimer.
The guest speaker this year will be Matt Elven, a teacher at Prairie as well as an assistant football coach.
The class flower is the white rose. The class colors are white and gold. The class song is “Congratulations” by Post Malone.
